he J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB), through Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2025 dated 27.02.2025, has announced 292 vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in various Power Development Department corporations. Eligible candidates possessing a valid Domicile Certificate can submit their applications online.

Application Submission Details

Step-by-Step Instructions for Filling Out the Online Application Form

1. Online Mode Only: Applications must be submitted online through www.jkssb.nic.in. No other mode of submission will be accepted.
2. Registration on the Portal: Candidates must register on the JKSSB Portal by clicking the “Log-in (Apply for Various Posts)” tab on the website.
3. Valid Email & Mobile Number Required:
   • Candidates must provide a valid email ID and mobile number for registration.
   • Upon registration, an OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent for verification.
   • If the OTP is not received, candidates should click “Get Activation Code” to resend it.
4. Username for Login: Use the system-generated username (received in the activation email) instead of your email ID for logging in.
5. One-Time Registration (OTR):
   • After login, complete the OTR form with accurate details.
   • Click on the ‘Active Advertisement’ tab and then select ‘Apply’ for the desired post.
6. Filling the Application Form:
   • Enter all details correctly.
   • Click “SAVE & CONTINUE” to proceed.
7. Uploading Documents:
   • Photograph:
     • Recent passport-size photo with a white background.
     • Size: 20 KB to 50 KB (4.5 x 3.5 cm).
   • Signature:
     • Clear signature on a white background.
     • Size: 10 KB to 20 KB (1.5 x 3.5 cm).
   • Category Certificate (if applicable):
     • Must be in PDF format with a maximum size of 100 KB.
8. Final Submission:
   • Double-check all fields before submitting the form.
   • Once submitted, no changes can be made.
   • The information provided will be treated as final for eligibility verification.
   • Any incorrect or missing details cannot be corrected later, and no claims will be entertained afterward.
   • Category benefits will only be granted if a valid certificate is uploaded at the time of submission. No claims will be accepted at a later stage.
9. Fee Payment is Mandatory:
   • Applications will not be considered valid if the required fee is not paid.
