Ireland International Education Scholarship 2025-26 is an initiative by the Government of Ireland along with the Irish higher education institutions (HEIs) that is managed by the Higher Education Authority. The scholarship aims to support exceptional international students to study at the NFQ level 9 or 10 (master’s, postgraduate diploma, or PhD) in Ireland. The selected candidates will be given a maximum of €10,000 (approximately ₹9,08,450) for one year.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, an applicant must:

  • Live outside the EU/EEA
  • Be a graduate
  • Have a conditional or final offer at the time of application

Non-Eligibility

  • Applicants who have previously received a GOI-IES scholarship are not eligible to apply.
  • Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Russian and Belarusian nationals are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship Benefits

The selected candidates will receive up to €10,000 (approximately ₹9,08,450) for one year.

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply by following these steps:

  2. Click the ‘Register’ button and complete the registration form with the required details. (Note: If already registered, log in using Gmail, mobile number, or email ID.)
  3. Scroll down the page.
  4. Click on the ‘Click here to apply’ link.
  5. Fill in the required details.
  6. Click the ‘Submit’ button.

Note: Applicants must upload at least two references via the online portal.
